Cookie policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This policy explains which cookies Peony Holiday Home In Isle of Wight uses and how you can control them.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are needed for the website to work securely and cannot be switched off. They do not track you across other websites.

  • peony_session – keeps your visit working (for example, while you fill in a booking request). Deleted when you close your browser or after 2 hours.
  • XSRF-TOKEN – protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Expires after 2 hours.
  • peony_consent – remembers your cookie choices. Expires after 6 months.

Analytics cookies (optional)

If we use analytics, we only do so with your consent. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years) to help us understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. These are only set if you click "Accept all" or turn analytics on in your cookie settings, and are removed if you change your mind.

Third-party links

We link to our Facebook page and to other websites. We don't embed their content, so they can't set cookies on this website – but they may set their own cookies if you visit them.

Changing your choices

You can change your cookie choices at any time using the button below or the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
